# JIT admin access overview

> Privileged Access Management (PAM) to eliminate shared credentials, implement on-demand admin accounts, and secure critical accounts with auto password rotation. 

## What is Just-in-time Admin Access (JIT)

Idemeum offers unified, multi-tenant solution to secure privileged access to your critical resources. You can meet the compliance requirements by eliminating shared credentials and accessing resources with on-demand admin accounts. Moreover, you can automate password rotation for your critical break-glass admin accounts.

There are three major components for Just-in-time Admin Access:
