# Endpoint repair

> Assist diagnoses and fixes IT problems on the employee's own computer.

# Assist endpoint repair skills

Assist repairs problems on the device itself. An employee describes the issue in their own words, such as **"my VPN won't connect"**, and Assist checks the computer, finds the cause and fixes it, with the employee approving any change. Each repair follows a skill, which is a tested playbook for a problem. Assist comes with built-in skills that idemeum team created - `printer-repair`, `disk-cleanup`, `usb-device-repair` and more.
