Meet Assist
Assist is the AI agent for your employees. It installs as a desktop app, takes a problem described in plain language, and resolves it on the device or in the cloud. Every action passes through guardrails, the employee approves anything risky, and every run is audited in the cloud. How Assist works
- Employees asks for IT help - the employee describes the problem in plain language, such as “my email isn’t syncing”. They can also click a quick action, or respond when Assist spots a problem first.
- Assist chooses what to do - it answers from the conversation, looks it up in the knowledge base, or starts a run to fix the problem.
- Assist chooses a skill - it matches the request to a skill, builds an ordered plan, and runs each step through the guardrails. Before any change, it shows exactly what it will do and waits for approval.
- Assist confirms and reports - it verifies the outcome, asks the employee to confirm, and records the run as a ticket with the full audit trail.
- If Assist can’t fix it - it offers to send the issue to IT, and the employee decides. The ticket carries the diagnostics, the steps already taken, and a screen recording if the employee allows one.
Assist use cases
| Use case | Description |
|---|---|
| Endpoint repair | Diagnoses and repairs problems on the device itself — disk space, Wi-Fi and network, VPN, email, printers, Bluetooth and USB devices, slow or frozen apps, security agents, and more. |
| Cloud repair | Resolves cloud IT issues — password resets, MFA resets, accounts unlocks and more. |
| Proactive triggers | Scheduled checks find problems before the employee notices — a disk nearly full, a certificate about to expire, a security agent that stopped running. |
| Triage and diagnostics | When Assist cannot resolve an issue, it diagnoses and categorizes it, then submits a ticket to your helpdesk with the device context, the steps already taken and the conversation. |
| Knowledgebase answers | Answers questions about company policies and processes from your connected knowledge sources, instead of opening a ticket. |
| Access management | Grant just-in-time access to applications and resources when employees ask for access in plain language. |
