Overview

RFID Single Sign-On is a cloud-based solution that allows your users to replace passwords with RFID badges. Simply tap the badge, enroll with your passwords, and then access any shared workstation with a simple badge tap. Today idemeum supports RFID SSO for Windows computers, as well as web and native Windows applications.

Features

  • Support for various computer states - domain-joined, Entra-joined, or local workstations.
  • Named or shared accounts - when users tap the badge they can login with individual accounts or shared accounts assigned to workstations.
  • Various flows - idemeum agent support various flows out of the box including tap in, tap out, tap over, lock, unlock and more.
  • Support for various readers - idemeum integrates with rfIDEAS readers out of he box, and based on request we can also support custom key stroking readers of any model.
  • Connectivity detection - when there is no network connection, and the user scans a badge, application will inform the user that login is not possible until network connection is restored. Users will always have an option to sign-in with username and password, so that login is not disrupted.
  • Silent installation - push idemeum desktop client automatically to a fleet of Windows workstations. idemeum supports various methods such as PDQ Deploy, etc.
  • Desktop branding - ability to customize the appearance of the desktop login screen with your background, logo, icon, and text.

Solution components

Idemeum RFID Single Sign-On is a cloud-based product. There are no appliances to install and manage on-premises. The solutions consists of hardware and software

  • Software - idemeum providers software that works with your readers to handle user login to workstations and applications.
  • Hardware - desktop readers that get connected to workstations. You can purchase any rfIDEAS readers or any readers that can work in keystroking mode.
