What is Cloud LAPS

Idemeum Cloud LAPS is the solution that allows you to set up automatic password rotation for your computer or Entra ID break-glass credentials. The best practice is two have two set up of emergency credentials:
  • One set of credentials is stored in your password management / vault
  • Second set is configured for automated password rotation and is dynamically updated
Idemeum allows you to rotate break-glass admin credentials on each of your computers as well as for each Microsoft Entra ID tenant you manage. When idemeum desktop agent is installed and Cloud LAPS is enabled, idemeum rotates designated admin account every 24 hours and uploads credential to the cloud. You can view these credentials in idemeum cloud portal or idemeum mobile application.
