Password length

Configure what password length to use for just-in-time computer accounts

Overview

When idemeum creates just-in-time admin accounts (shared or individual), it randomly assigns a password to that account. Moreover, passwords are rotated automatically after each login session. You can configure what password length to use for each customer tenant.

  • The default password length is 12 characters
  • You can choose password length to be 12, 16, or 24 characters

Configuration

  • Login to customer tenant admin dashboard
  • Access Settings → PAM
  • Choose password length from the Account password length dropdown
  • Save the configuration
